Go Renthal. I like em, around $30 and you can choose how soft a compound you want.. Actions have them.

how soft are your cedric??

are they plastic type gel things or are they kinda foamy rubber type

i have a foamy kinda looking material thats wearing through, might upgrade to a gel grip if the consensus comes through they are worthwhile!!

I got the soft compound, they're nice and grippy, a little sticky but they still have some decent longevity. Pretty nice grip..

Progrip make a nice set of cross-hatch gel/rubber grips. They're at MCAS for about 20 bucks a pair.

Cedrics dead right, that's what I have on my bike right now.. although the throttle one is wearing out... fantastic to have good grips, makes a big difference.

Too right. I took a budgie for a spin a while back and the bloke had these big foam grips on it. I couldn't work out how he'd expect any precision in throttle control but he loved them as they made long trips a bit more bearable. They were hideous, like riding with numb fingers.

My grips aren't the worst thing that aches on long trips.

+1, I had Progrips on the Blackbird, and for distance riding they were great (no vibration/tingling any more). I don't know whether they'd be too soft for the track, I don't think so ... does it matter?

I hate those spongy ones.
