Is a site you can download all things motor sport, for example if you don't have foxtel you can download world superbikes just a few hours after racers.

It is a torrent site so you need a torrent program to download the files.

well i am always hearing of these torrent sites and as i am not too hot on the ol computer can someone tell me IN LAYMENS TERMS whats the go

are they bad for your computer?
is it best to run spyware/virus protection while on them?
are they riddle with bugs?

it seems this racing underground is quite popular and i would love to have a go!!
and do i need a decent connection too??

Yes, you need a good connection. You need a torrent client, like utorrent (google it). Download the client, test the connection speed. You may need to forward some ports in your modem - but the utorrent app will help you through that bit.

Torrent sites are fine to download files, the way it works is you download files from multiple places or just one depending on how many computers/servers are linked to file. It does this to help speed up the download process & share the load/cost of hoisting.
You need a program like Azureus (it's free do search) to download torrent files.

As far as virus etc torrent files are no worse than downloading any file on the internet.

Also if you download a file stay connected for awhile when download finished so you add some upload content.

Ah, Mr Nuff and any others whom might know, I d/l whatever file, and then I leave it open; indeed, often leave the d/l'ed file open for days/weeks... but... although some goes up and gets shared with others, I dunno, maybe 30-70 meg, why can I never get it to u/l a lot, and therefore increase the share ratings system they have there?:confused1:

It happens to me as well, you need to download a popular file that a lot of people want to download. Some files are very popular for one day and that's all. If you want to find a popular file find one with lots of leachers, if there are 1 or 2 leacher and lots of seeders, you will never be able to get good upload ratio. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I think it is that I get the file like an hour after it is up, and those with faster connections (Europe/USA) get them down faster and then seed/distribute way more and quicker; so perhaps the slower packet givers (like me and my tardy connection) are passed over? (think that makes sense anyway LOL)

That's exactly what happens, but you could do what I do and download a file which 1 person is seeding and lots of people want, like this one:
