View Full Version : Anodising colour change ?

I know there was a RAT on here that did anodising.......i have a few very small aluminium bits, not bike related which are anodised black, my question is can they be changed to silver anodised ??

You have to get rid of the old anodising with wire wheel method and then reanodise it and seal it. With silver look which is called clear anodise you dont actually dye any color into the anodising.

Turtle.. ( where've you been mate ? )

Anodising can be polished off back to alliminium then polished off mate ( have done so with a few bits myself) , dont need to tell you how thats done I dont think ;)..

Yeah mate i've stripped it off before myself but this thing has small tight spots in it....
