Here some pics from the k3 im piecing back together.
I have no history on it (kms/condition) so mounted the eng up, and got it fired for a small while, so atleast its not seized and so forth.
Taking it back out now, did valve clearances last night.
dont really need that many parts supprisingly.
Ill keep pics updated when i do more.

It confused me Wetty cause he never posted here (that I saw) to find a tank, I saw the ad and called a mate (Brendon) who called him to offer his one.
Thinking about it... that's not too suprising, I'm easy to confuse (I'm Irish born)

ohhh, missed it... cheers. Hey just for interests sake that commodore power window switchgear you got for me (after I blew mine up - in flames - from igniting lubricant gas under the original ones) is going great! Thanks for that part so cheap!

thanks to good old ripperton for helping me with the engine case repair, seems to be solid.
Now to get this stuborn swingarm axle out, it bloody just spins freely, i think its stuck on a bearing or something grrrrrrrr
This calls for a bigger hammer

New photos up.
UPDATE:
Bike started first go, was cheering.
Only thing left is to check if the radiator leaks under pressure
Find a tacho
Paint race glass.
Otherwise shes done.
Total time from purchasing to current.
10hours.
Could of been less but i documented alot of the shit i had and stuff.
If i had it all again from scratch, and i just go stuck into it. 6hrs i reckon.
Coming along good :-)
Cost of parts approx $500 so far.
all new, all genuine.

damn, radiator has a small drip out of the left side somewhere, need to investigate more closely.
hopefully if can be welded if its in a decent spot..... otherwise metros has a k2 one for $350 :-(
impossible spot to weld, just grabed one from metros to save the hassle, keep it as a spare anyway.
:-)
Only need a cluster and im done.
