Bit bumpy up the top section, T4/T5, and T8 long left hander can be dusty and slippery if you run it wide through there..
T1/T9 are really fast fun corners..
Power can be an issue just like Oran Park..
Don't get there nearly enough; great track :ayyy:

awesome track!! last time I was there in my ute ripping round!!
watch out for the ripply strips... they can be deadly!!! Turn 7? i think, is a nasty off camber left hairpin... absolute bitch of a corner in my SS ute... apparently alot of riders come unstuck there because they push it too hard...
good luck! awesome track! and yes, dress warm in the mornings! I was there 2 weeks ago and we couldn't see the track until 9am due to the cold mist, great for cold air inductions though :)
I'm hoping to be there Sunday as well. Its my local track so I get there as often as I can.
Yep, you have to watch the ripple strips, they will eat your knees. Also, it gets cold and windy, not a lot of rain around lately so a fair bit of dust gets blown across the track. It is a little rough in some spots, like Cedric said, its bumpy up the top of the track. Also on the drive out of T9 on the outside there are some big ripples in the tarmac, lots of people highside here cause your getting on the power hard and the rear becomes un balanced, so I like to hold a tighter line out of the corner.
Going into T10, the last turn before the straight, its bumpy and down hill, the rear will move around a lot under heavy braking. Found the track to have plenty of grip when I was there on Friday.
Come over and say high if you see me, I'll be riding a ghetto looking 1996 ZX6R in white.

Late cuts on most corners help lap times a lot

Only been there twice (not the fastest) however the one thing that I remember from the first time when I got Munga to show me some lines is that top part of the circuit is all about the next corner. That is you need to be thinking of where you are going to be for the next corner as one corner leads to the next.
From turn 2 to turn 9 it you feel like you have the bike tipped over or changing direction constantly.
Good to see T9 is improving, not! I always felt unsure about it. Fast line was the taking it wide on exit but meant exiting over the bumps. Was never happy with the lines I took on exit.
Fun circuit though.

Yeah, unfortunately the fast way through T9 is right over the bumps on exit, and they take up a good 1/2 of the road.... Still havn't found a good line through that corner. :dohsmiley:
