New Racetecs, Track day version and the Race version , Have noticed all the old stock on sale at MCA and the like but now i no why . Any one seen them , tried them ?????-Check out suggested tyre pressures for the com k . Interesting advertising now as quick warm up-the only thing the old tecs were missing .:ayyy:

I wonder if they are still Metzeler compound or if they are a Pirelli compound ?

These are awesome, i have the K3(Hard compound) on my 954 now... I have done 3 trackdays and 2 superbike schools on them and I should get another 1 or 2 days out of them before I need to replace!!

I use the hard compound because having my fat ass on the bike helps them heat up real well at East Creek!! woohoo!

Comp k only has a med , you must be using the Track Days..Im very keen to try a set of the comps, wonder if milage will be as good as the old k1,2 combo

the K3 is the hardest compound & is aimed mainly for road use

A lot of the fronts that MCAS is selling at a discount are Racetec Interact Track Day.

I wonder what the Comp K is like, and yes, they must have stiffened up the carcass to allow such low pressures, since the original racetec'a construction was pretty soft. It was easy to bend the tyre with hand, unlike GP Racers.

Nope it's a good thing in the right environment i.e the track.
First point of suspension is your tyre so on the road a softer side wall will have more give plus warm up much quicker.
Harder side wall is good on track as the tyre doesn't deform on power or hard braking plus gives much better feed back.

See what I can do but the above mentioned price is for Trackday Interac front and old stock rear ,

I think we can match this with new front and rear in Trackday or Komp , any compounds but with more numbers we should do better :ayyy:

All tyres came in .....Komps feel sweet -think we had quite a few towers worth of sets , nice one guys I think we made a significant dint from Galvins stock pile but a win win all round :lmao::lmao:
180 rears should be available within 3 weeks just as an update -Think we missed out on 1:( due to no stock in aus
Getting details from new Maw owner and he seems happy if we can gather a few each purchase we can keep doing similar $$ -Keep you posted.

It was funny picking up tyres Thursday night the amout of tyres we bought K2 front & K3 rear for me.

Just went down to CBC bearings an had my new 17inch front wheel fitted up with bearing and seals

Now all I need are tyres to finalise the upgrade from 16' to 17' front wheel on the old blade. And these tyres sound like they are getting a lot of press and evryone seems happy with them
