Here's the bad bit guys but first the good. the bike was parked at home, So its ok. it was just me that got hit this time. the police saw it and said the bus was going a bit quick and didnt stop till about two meters past me.
But i steped out so i think its my fault.
But i'm not dead so its ok. some pills, sleep and all is well.
Just need to look out for bus's abit more.:dohsmiley:

Back in 07 I got knocked down by a westbus when I was 1 meter in front of it on a pushy going to work, virtually drectly in front of the drivers face.
He was taking off out of the terminating street of a T intersection and had to give way to me.
And yes I sued, Solicitor jumped on it.

Glad you're ok dude. First things first though, despite feeling OK you should get a checkup. There can be ongoing health problems associated with incidents like this... sprains that won't go away might turn out to be fractures, headaches might turn out to be brain damage, neck aches might be spinal related etc. It might seem overboard but if you took a hard hit you've gotta be sure.

On litigation... Just because some bus drivers are morons doesn't exempt you from taking responsibility for your actions. Yeah most car drivers are gronks but if you get hit because you run out infront of one, what the hell do you think is gonna happen. He should've seen me and stopped? GTFO.

It seems you acknowledged it to be your fault for running infront of it? If you genuinely believe the bus driver is at fault then yeah take it further, but if it was your own fault and you want to sue anyway then you're a loser.

Actually, When I got my greencard (OH&S thingy) they told us that NSW is now the most litigious place on Earth.....far more cases per capita than any US state!

But it's not that we're litigious, it's the way our legal system works, and differs from European ones, for instance. Basically it's made to benefit the lawyers.

A champion attitude you have there rossco, taking resposibility for your actions as well as admitting fault.
We all do/make odd decisions daily, its normal, only some are too far up themselves to admit when they've stuffed up and usually try covering up with a pile of BS. Poor character traits if you ask me.

Getting knocked on your arse by a friggin bus would taken the puff out of your sails no doubt. Bloody hell! At least you should get a few miles out of this story for a while.

I think alot of people where think how the fuck did that happen.But i think i had other things on my mind, things that alot of other people are thinking about at these bad money times. So with these things on our minds we sometimes forget to think about the things we should really be looking for when we are walking arould the streets.
