Nah but I crashed!? Does that count?

Well not so much a crash, just my ego getting to me in A group hahaha

Hitting T1 at top of 4th gear in the R6, not enough time to brake for T2, fair enough I'll go into the kitty litter

BIG BIG BIG ruts there, BAD idea... front falls in a rut and the bike falls over :(

All scratched up, nothing major, just means I'll go harder now because it's not immaculate anymore :D

that's it, with a nice looking road bike, the brain slows ya down cause ya dont want to drop it, maybe it's time for ya to look at some race glass now mate:ayyy:

serioulsy, with a road bike... you end up spending more on repairs / replacement of fairings as soon as you bin it on a track than you would had you lashed out at the beginning and just got the race glass!

And lets face it, there is a pretty high chance you will crash it at some stage on the track..... unless you are mr pansy pants and content with just circulating in C/D group..... ;)

Hey do you just repair race fairing with a good old fibreglass kit?

Do you repair a race fairing ?? :)

Yep, that the way I used to repair my old road fairings too, honest, well it was a GPZ500 and a KR250... no one noticed.

Sorry to hear about the drop buddy, everyone does it, great attitude towards it... better than mine, I dropped my RF9 at EC 10 years ago and has taken me till last year to get the guts to go again. bad bad bad

I did Level 1 it was a good day. Only been to the creek twice before so got to learn the track alot more. I am now comfortable with all turns (no longer hate turn 2) You learn so much more when you're not charging into each corner trying to be as fast as possible.

I decided to do the school day because I wasn't getting any faster at ridedays.

I was lucky enough to have Mark Wilson all to myself for the on track coaching. I am now steering alot quicker and he got my body position corrected a fair bit, I'm still not getting off the bike enough but at least I'm not at max lean angle now, so there is now room for more speed :mod_smilie_rockwoot .

I've read plenty of riding technique books etc so theory wise I did not hear anything new, but having the on track coaching is worth the $$$$. I would recommend it to all and will be booking in for Level 2 or Raceschool with CB's later this year.
