I got some new leathers and wanted to break em in. Went up the old road today (I was the doob with 1 knee puck on if you seen me, I couldnt find the other :BangHead: )

Mainly went just to take it easy, it was a great day, not many cars, 1 cop the whole day and I met some mates up there.

My intro included that I have been having troubles with suspension on my K6 1K.

2 weeks ago, I had a great set up, got greedy and ruined it. The set up I have at the moment isnt as good, but good enough.:beatdeadhorse: Im keeping it as its giving good feedback. A lot of people say they are very sensitive!

Finially got my knee down on this bitch! It takes a fair bit of speed

Its not as easy as it is with my old CBR250 and RVF400...

Sorry if you were expecting a sext or crash story... Im yet to do either :eyecrazy:

Yep booked in on the long weekend OP day!

Im not very fast...or expereinced.... or good.... Which is why I want to take the RVF to the track day- less sensory overload!

I'll probably crash anyway (hence my sig)

You'll be alright mate, it's not a race. Take it at your own pace and try to be smooth with your braking and throttle inputs. Concentrate on your lines and remember that you aren't there to beat Rossi's times. Trust me, you will have a ball.

It looks slippery, but you have to put your trust in it!

Im still working on it myself...

Im taking it easy on the new sections, none of them have markers yet- which could mean someone can come flying along on the wrong side of the road!

I was riding with some of the regulars up there, a couple of R1's, 3x K6 1k's, a K7 1K and a 1098

Is it a smooth or a rough surface?

I dont know clarky- did you? I only met up with them in the afternoon..

biggy- its smooth, not like the old surface!

At the rate they are going, the 3rd section might be done by the end of the year! One of the workers said they plan to work from gosford back but they have done some patches on the 2nd section- the corner before deeno's usually at.

Sweet, it should be fun in that section. There are some awesome corners from Mt White and on to Gosford.

at the moment, im trying to avoid that section. There is a lot of dirt on the edges and on the center line as they have to clean it before resealing it- so they said.

Anyone know if the putty is just as smooth?

Might try and get some mates to do a putty run!
