just a question jase, how much is the ride school?

The CSS school is $399 :(

I'm trying to get Tim Halliburton from CSS to agree to half price entries if done with zero notice.. i.e. tomorrow theres another school on, which is NOT booked out... I've been on his back to tell me if I can offer the rats 1/2 price on the night prior to the event.... it benefits everyone.... they get bums on seats (that they wouldnt have had) and we get a great price.. only downside is the lack of notice.

I've shot him another email wonder if he'll reply or if hes sick of me :)

They'll have to have a reason, i.e. non declared fines etc, so be ready to negiotiate, offer them payment for what the premium increase would have been all this time if you had declared the fines... be REALLY NICE... say you have a good following on this site which have a lot of Shannons insured riders who always spread the word about how good they are etc etc. To be honest I love em, so far they've been all about personal touch when dealing with them on the phone so you wouldnt be lying... I've never had to make a claim though!

Best weather imaginable, although first session of each day was a touch cold. Both myself and gasitup would recommend doing the two days back to back (level 1@2) although by the end of day one i was absolutley stuffed and wondering how i was ever going get through day two!!!Day one was a huge eye opner for a track virgin like myself and as all the track bikes rolled off there trailors i began to wonder wat the hell id got myself into.Steve and his staff make every one feel welcome .We had five lessons followed by track sessions (around twenty five min depending on carnage) of which to apply new found knowledge.I will never ever forget the feeling of coming out of turn twelve and hitting the straight for the first time ,then turning into t 1 ,awsum!!!!!By the end of day one felt ok on the track and was vastly improved but not till day two did it all just seem to click together, although everyone is different but day two was astounding. On day two i had doubled turn entry speed ,quickened steering by half and found that, wooo hoooo the pads on my knees werent just for show!!!!As the day went on it all the lessons just seemed to work, and by track session three all my lines were getting consistent and all aspects were feeling better, faster and safer!!!We actually ended up with six track sessions and the on bike tuition was fantastic( lou and Andy):ayyy: :ayyy: :ayyy: :ayyy: :ayyy: :ayyy: :ayyy: :ayyy: :ayyy: :ayyy:

When I did L2 they brushed over the L1 concepts.

Day1:
Drill 1: Throttle Control
Drill 2: Turn points
Drill 3: Quick Turning
Drill 4: Rider Input.
Drill 5: Two-step turning.

Day2:
Drill 1: Reference Points
Drill 2: Change Lines
Drill 3: Vanishing Points
Drill 4: Wide Screen view of the track
Drill 5: Pickup

Wish I could tell you all of day3 and 4 :) will be able to soon :)

Ahh cool... :) excellent, will do.. we can hire a Trailer from Kennards if youd like.. only $47 and split between the two, makes life easy, so you dont have to ride all the way home after an 8 hr day of riding :)

Zee

That's okay, I ute mine up.
But may be we can get a couple more people to join in and spilt a trailer with them. Shall I post a feeler or would you do the honors.
Sorry, I'd offer to ute yours up too but there's not enough room once all the gear's on board :(
