Make sure to order the visor from them as well and save on shipping... RSR2 visors are great but a bit exxy and even more so here in Australia.

Same weight apparently...
I'd buy either the Carbon Dual Mat White or the Kinetic Red and White but none of them are on sale and I already have 3 helmets as it is.
So I need to pull my finger and start using them instead of getting new ones!:lmao:

where would you be able to use this helmet? doesnt it need the Australian AS1698 standards in order to use on road or track?

Track only, you would not be covered for insurance (circumstances may/would play their part) on the road. Althought the helmets are identical without the standards sticker you are buggered Dot/Snell rating doesn't rate

Yep, that meets the EU standards needed for MA licensed track events, like Eastern Creek ride days.

there are AS1698 stickers floating around if you look hard enough.. if you just want it for the track i'm pretty sure the CAMS requirements are AS1698 and/or Snell and/or EC

If you have a bone-fide source you'll become very popular - people say if you take the helmet you the local importer they will sticker them (why would they when it's not their product) Pushy helmet sticker, not coded with same number.

my source is running out... i've been looking around for options but they're not viable unless I can move quite a few of them

Nothing wrong with a little entrepuerial spirit, depending on your stated volume you may have a market here.

the new helmet labels are by BSI right? The older AS1698 labels were two colours on foil base stock which sends the price through the roof... I think the new BSI ones might work out much more doable.. although after my day today, I think I best not do anything illegal for a while. A 2hr interview with Aust Federal Police, NSW Police and Airport Police has resulted in a court hearing in Sept :-/ now to find a lawyer... yay for work meetings in the airport!
Edit: and if anyone was in the Qantas terminal today and saw some young ( ;) ) bloke sitting on a chair, Rossi Helmet in hand, surrounded by abt 9+ officials it was me! haha

Never ever .... And I'll repeat ..... Ever, take a donut off a Fed policemans plate. Even if he did look fast asleep. Poor guy would of been in the "leant forward position" and first thing he see's whilst feeling the presence of another man behind him was a Rossi helmet.........
(then again that explains why the other 8 Feds were there........). Queuing up I guess......

What happened????
The damn work meeting was held in the Qantas Club meeting rooms which are on the other side of the security scanners.. my work bag went through the scanner and apparently I had a prohibited weapon in there ( I had no idea it was a prohibited weapon). Anyway, now I've got to go to court for a Prohibited Weapons (without permit) charge and defend it.. Don't really want to put much more detail up here on the forum as you never know who could be reading. If I get a record i'm fucked as my company won't allow you to work there if you've had a criminal conviction.

Dude, I feel for ya. That's harsh... (except if it was, like, a switchblade or an Uzi or something.... then my sympathy levels drop). But I hope it all gets resolved without any issues :D

Back on topic: I have taken Veitchy's Shark RSI off him, I know it's a level down from the RSR2 but it just seems to fit my melon better, he even chucked in two visors:ayyy:
