How cool...
Last month 'Just Bikes' mag ran a competition for one person to win a Stay Upright's 'Cornering and Braking school', I'm the winner of it :mod_smilie_rockwoot
I sent in the review I did for here and they said they has all sorts of entries.. (you had to write why you want to do their Cornering and Braking school), entries ranging from people just giving their name and address to people saying why theyd love to do the course, seems I was the only one who wanted to do it for myself and to help others :ayyy:
So Michael from 'Just Bikes' summed it up saying my review (http://nswroadandtrackbikes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1096) on the schools showed a hell of a lot of time and effort dedicated to others, and that it was deemed the best reason so they gave it to me.. :) woo hooo.
Seriously this would not have happened if it wasnt for you RATs, otherwise I wouldnt have done the review and so wouldnt have won, so a BIG THANK YOU ALL!!!
How cool is that !!!! Oran Park, here I come !!!

D'oh.. They have to be giving a reason?? what are they saying (hopefully you've gotten further than the last paperwork excuse) Have you requested (demanded) your bike back?

Not yet.....they say they have to look at it and make a decision.......Seems like a pretty open and shut case to me .......
I don't want to make any demands yet, they say it will be about 5 days at the most for them to have a verdict (reason)

Yep, well done mate. Good to see karma coming back to those that deserve it.
p.s. Shannons are still Fucking around with my CLAIM !!!!!!!
Should we start a Post in opposition of them ???
Hmmmm hands up who'd rather be insured with 'SWAN' ????
Yep, shannon's fucked me around with my recent claim on the Ducati… 3 different assessors looked at it, written off, written off, then repaired… took forever to assess it, and the assessor who finally looked at it and said repair it, didn't quote for everything that was damaged, and I'm currently "in discussions" with them over some minor stuff, but it's not looking good. I know the assessors are independent, but shannons should still take responsibility for their subbies…
Needless to say, my policy expired during the repair period (13 wks!), so I'm now insured with Arista, .. And saved $400 in the process also!.
Sorry to hijack ya thread Jase… had to vent ;-(

Im very thankful for all the comments, thats really kind, I did it so others can hopefuly use some experience when figuring out which course to go on and I've heard a couple say it helped them... which is all I wanted.
It just happened to turn out that writing the review refreshed it all for me again which was a huge benefit and this prize was just freaky.. it was a win win for everyone!
P.s. I booked in already for the 6th August school BTW :)
Thanks everyone!!
P.s. Dallas, vent mate, thats what this forum is all about.. sorry to hear those troubles... keep us posted, good experience for us all.
