they've shuffled a lot of riders through the grades for some reason...

some hadn't even finished the meets or made places for 2010 and have still been moved up!

oh well like Mr.ed said... it's going to be a fresh start for the new comers

Same here I have only done 2 race meets. Well here's hoping to get a tow :ayyy:

Does anyone know how they worked it out. There are a few riders that have come down the back of the pack and still made their way forward.

I don't think there's any science to it.

Firstly you have to be noticed by MA - I don't think any of the guys doing FX only would have been graded?

Secondly you again have to be noticed doing well against others. It's obviously easier for those running at the front, they are more visible and it'd be harder at the back/mid-pack.

But D to C is nothing more than an attendance award anyway and after a while you realise that except for A graders wanting international licences, it's imperfect, arbitrary and generally meaningless anyway.

Wow! I've been busy with other things, and just checked the St George website! I'm now a C grader... with a PB of 1:50 @ EC...? And, the first round is in 6 weeks! And it's on a Saturday...? So I spose I gotta take Friday off work if there is a prac day? And no rounds at EC??? I hate the way the sport is ATM...

Congrats Russ. You deserve it. Your riding well & apart from what others say you, earn your regrading. [everyone does] The grading committy dont just put you up because your turning up at the meetings. You have to show that you conduct yourself correctly, your time are at a level that covers you going up a grade, & most of all dont be a crash bandicoot. Thats why you went up.:ayyy:

closest practice day would be with Xtreme Ridedays on either FRI 14th or FRI 28th Jan

This is the first time Ive seen St George do there own grading.... usually MNSW does the grading and that covers any state event run under a MNSW permit, maybe theres something happening with ASSA that we are not aware of yet???

Just Seems strange for St George to be doing there own grading.....

Yes Linden. As I said in the other post... the chances of me winning another helmet & gloves is now significantly reduced!

so I am now graded from D to C by St George only? or does it mean I am now C grade for any MA event? wonder what about FX?

WSBK - MA grade?
STG - C grader
FX - MA grade maybe?

At the start of last season Terry suggested he didn't like the MA grading system and said he would regrade his event accordingly. Means its about to get alot more confusing

so not only do we have everyone running their own race championships on their own tied up very nicely race circuits but now they are running their own gradings too !! cmon its never gunna happen !! hehe

whats listed is MA grading. you can be whatever you want in FX trophy hunters

A friend of mine is in there regraded from D to C.
He did one race meeting on a one day licence. His first race meeting.
So he's been graded to C grade and he hasn't even got a licence.
