Well, after a few weeks of searching, I've finally found a bike to replace my beloved old 750 (written off after a crash on diesel on Macquarie Pass)
A mate found the ad in the Trading Post and passed it on to me.
It's a '98 with 40000ks on it, mostly touring trips back and forth to Phillip Island from Sydney. Bagster tank cover and bag, Ventura rack and new bag, almost new tyres, registered till April next year and full service history. Genuine tool kit and owners book included.
It was advertised for $5950 and his bottom line price was $5500 which, co-incidentally, was exactly the pay-out from the Testarossa insurance claim.
Looking forward to many years of pleasureable riding.

For the moment, yes. It doesn't exactly clash with the yellow, but I will be on the lookout for a yellow helmet once I've got over the expense of transfers, etc.
Oh, and heated handgrips, of course!!:ayyy:

Great find for that price, I can look at yellow bikes that others own & like them, but yellow will never be a color between my legs :lmao:
I'll have to get used to seeing you down south on the yellow VFR, it used to be Carl (replacement is red) until a dog on the old road tried to eat it while moving.
