View Full Version : Hot Bodies Fairing install

Hey all I'm install some hotbodies fairings and I'm a bit concerned there is a gap between the tank and the seat section. what can i do to get rid of the gap ? heat gun mabe ?

Email them and send the photo's, thats not a good fit is it.

these look like you are fitting them to a cbr600rr 07/08? you will also get a gap on both sides when you mount the front fairing to the side of the tank, i had the same problem with mine, theres nothing you can do its just the quility of hotbodies shit over rated, i bought wettys glass and it fitted like a glove,

Seen that before on other forums....Most of the time you get what you pay for.

I was lucky to get Attack fairings and they fit like OEM fairings.

yes a glove . them mexican things your tryin to fit will never fit right , sorry. you cant heat gun em . be careful pushin n pullin em coz they will crack
its the price you pay and they dont cost a lot do they . bigw really should stand up and sort out that crap they sell.

you were lucky to get what i sold you. which were what i found with KRT's help and we modified to fit proper and ripped a mould off em . they just happened to never get wrecked in all the time kev had em on.

i couldnt even use foam for the seat as first thought because as soon as i sat on it started cracking weak as, i had to cut it and use the original seat what a f@ck around that was,

send em back like most do and its 10% off for a real set that fit and wont crack when you sit on it (potsy).

Armour Bodies fit my 07rr perfectly as well.
