Hey there,

anyone with kids want to comment about their experience in taking the family to track / race days...... I have two young kids.... 3.5 & almost 2, and was wondering about bringing my wife and them along to the odd track day / race day etc....

So what are the various tracks like in terms for kids..... I have ridden WP & OP... but didn't take any notice as to whether there was anything for them to do......

Cheers :)

i take my 6yo son to all my track days, but i have no choice....he usually hangs out in the pits and helps out with stuff....
there are swings and stuff at eastern creek. theres nuthin much for kids to do at op or wakefield, but if ya wifes there then they could go hang out in goulburn, or go check out the stunters at oran...
be warned tho, it gets hot, and flies, and grubby motorcyclists!!!:)

Only restrictions EC places on kids is they are not allowed in front of the pits.
I usually have 1/2 doz of the little buggers there so yours won`t be lonely.
Mine sometimes wander over to the grandstand, play on the swings, then come back and hit me up.
They keep asking if they can come, so they must enjoy it.

its a bit of a hike tho from the pits....ya have to go thru the tunnel under the straight and then under the seating, squeeze thru a gate thats locked, then climb the fence to get into them, but they are there and the kids manage to get into it!!!!
cool seraph. you can keep an eye on the tribe!!!:D
