Whats good or bad with the types out there? What has people got and recommend? Be good to hear of any stories that tell how good or bad theres are?
Mine are stock ones that came with my bike which look like little mushrooms. It has been knocked over and didn't quite save the fairing as there is a slight crease from the clutch basket. But this happened a while ago so dont panic guys as it just didn't happen now.

No idea on the Gixxer... careful that if you use the no cut style that WHEN they bend back they're not going to hit something important...
example: on the CBR1000RR buying the nocut sliders that position themselves right above the water knuckle, when they hit they bend into the knuckle, often breaking it... its only a $15 part or so.. but the engine has to come out to do it.

So I'd recommend a cut style or even better go the Oggy brand or ones that use internal bracing that absorbs the shock rather than the frame itself.

And remember, frame sliders are NOT fairing savers, very different function!

I don't know much about them, but I chose the bling ones.
Like Oggy's, but made of a tough resin and has LED lights in it...

Pan, you should get those nobs connected to your blinkers. Also why is your bike in 2nd gear, but not moving?

I would go the Oggys, they are much bigger than your flimsey ones, so they will make contact with the ground first, plus if you get metal ones, they will do big damage to your frame as they dont have any give in them.

ok i see it now. Its like one of those optical illisions. If you stare at the lights long enough you see an N but im looking at the black parts which clearly show a 2.
Oggys might be the go then. I just know the ones that come with my bike from suzuki wont do much.
