View Full Version : Wakefield 7th of July
This isn't an official Rats sanctioned trackday, just me feeling withdrawal symptoms come on.
James Spence is running a day down a Wakefield Park on the above said date.
Cost is $140 + $50 for a licence, so yes not cheap but I'm desperate, (already have a Wakefield licence, which I better check the expiry).
I figure not too many will jump at the chance to go, with race school and the deferred trackday all around the same time. I'm just asking if anyone else is interested in joining me at a different track....for a change. :)

Cant ever do saturdays unless Im racing that weekend:( Being in Canberra I get to Wakefield as much as I can though. Its better than some people claim.
Should think about an excursion to Winton and Broadford too.
As far as Im aware there is no getting out of the Wakefield licence.
Dunno, I always thought it was all you could get. :confused1:
On Spence's site, he asks for the additional amount for the licence and give no alternative. Also, Wakefield is under new management by the Winton group now.

Don't know about this exact date, but for future reference, does anyone have a 2/3 bike trailer that I could split petrol with and jumb onboard???
My only car is my wife's Barina. :(

Zee I luv Wakefield but this time of year for weather is a real gamble, much more so than EC or OP. This time of year the weather there is more unpredictable than a female.
I would like to go but track bike is being held up by slow race glass supplier.
Fark! you still wait'in. Come to think of it, I waited 8 weeks from Racers Edge and it was fuked. Here's a tip, when you order your glass request blanks only. That way you trim it and drill it....it save countless hours of reglassing, filing and sanding. :ayyy:
As for Wakefield, I'm not booking, just gonna roll up.
