Pretty sure they won't let you mount it on the tank mate........
Some will let you know for sure but I`m sure Hatter ran into trouble for that.

ahh ok, does that mean no cam mounted anywhere? or just not on the tank? ie could i mount it up under the headlight for example so its still facing forwards?
its not important in any way to have it on the bike, so it doesnt bother me, but its alwasy cool to look at track footage :D

think they only had a problem with the whi\ole camera being mounted on the tank,. im pretty sure youd get away with a bukllet cam or the like...but when hatter gets back from kicking riocks in the stix, he will be able to tell ya for sure..

Some of the Illawarra guys were up the Creek on Sunday & have reported that bulletcams are ok to use. Was no mention of where you can mount them though. Will pm a few & find out.

When in doubt ask ;) Here is the response....
Hi Richard,
The simple answer is the camera/recording unit must be mounted in the duck tail or nose cone, and in no way should this be extruding from the bike. Then using a plug in bullet camera such as those sold by Helmet Camera, this can be mounted to the bike (we do not allow this to be on your helmet or body) http://www.helmetcamera.com.au/products_xtrememount.htm
So in close the bracket sold by sportbikecam in its current design is not allowed with a standard camera on it. If you have this bracket and remove the square base plate and black turn handle and just use the square rod below to mount your bullet camera this would be ok.
Kind Regards

k thanks....that rules out putting it on the tank, cos that casing is obviously far too low to see out the front from the tank, well, it could be possible, might have to try it out b4 i go....but im sure it will go fine mounted to the rear on under the front nosecone :D
thanks fella's!
