And for the clever ones out there, how does it work and why would you want one?

first guess would be a brake applied force maesuring thing for a telemetry system. Why - no f'ing idea on a road bike so I'm probably wrong

Part of ABS system?

Electric span ajuster.

Bit more fancy than the ole cable.

Nice one James, I was clearly taking a stab in the dark - but from your pic it seems it just moves the adjustment point from the lever (which is what you are adjusting anyway) to some other point, which brings Captians original question into play, why would you want one?

To ajust for brake fae without taking your han off of the bars.

My keyboar oesn't like bourbon.

The ajuster is on the left han bar so one oesnt nee to remove their throttle han at all.

Moves it onto the left bar by the look of it? Might be easier to use while riding? Pointless if you ask me, but no one normally dose lol

You could either be really smashed or have just spilt burbon on your keyboard, I'm hoping the first one! Haha

I assume for fast bikes racing long races by faster guys than us.

Well done James :ayyy:
There's a push-button bit too, so that you can make adjustments on the fly, but I can't find a pic as the manufacturer's website isn't up to date.

Do we need it? Well I guess it depends. I do adjust mine once or twice, particulalry at EC, but it's easy enough to do so I wouldn't buy anything more fancy. But I have always been amazed at how much the racers fiddle with the damn thing, it must drive them nuts.
BTW, that's the benefit of levers with infinite adjustments, the Pazzos just aren't up to the task IMO.

There was a thread in which you and I were talking about the same thing.

hype came in and said something along the lines of if had more brake fade than his setup could handle he was packing a parachute lol.

I insatalled this today. Super trick, variable leverage ratio which restored the lever feel which was taken away by the STM slipper clutch. Ball and detent cable adjuster which is easy to use on the fly and 6 spanish adjustments.

That's the nub of it, especially when you see young Lachie can do 37's on an 8 year old FZ6 with zero engine mods.

Sadly the rest of us have to try every possible means to compensate for a lack of natural ability, and there's nothing wrong with a bit of bling/techno bits.

Ed, I think you have plenty of ability. I've seen you get your elbow down successfully. Now if you'd only get off the couch and onto the bike....
