I've got a question for you guys that I can't find a clear answer to.

I've got a cbr600rr 2007 model track only.

I've got a PCV and intend on getting a proper dyno tune done.

I know exactly how to remove the servo and stop it throwing the error code.

Ignoring any other mods and assuming a proper tune is done will I have more mid range with the servo connected than without. I've seen dyno charts that show no loss of mid range comparing stock to tuned but would it have more if they'd kept the valve?

Other relevent mods are
K&N filter
Gutted airbox
Pairs blocked off
Jardine slipon
o2 sensor eliminator

The plan is to piss off the cat and get a mid pipe welded in but I'm not sure if I want to cut the servo out while I'm at it. I'm happy to keep the servo if I gain mid range, but just as happy to cut it out and remove all the parts if it's useless.

Thanks in advance
Marty

Can’t comment on the impact on mid-range power… as much as you have seen charts that say one thing, there are the same amount of charts to say the other….

As far as im aware, the valve is an emission/noise control system at idle. It begins to open from 3000rpm and is full open at 4500rpm. (or there abouts)... mid-range power comes in from 6500-7000rpm upwards..... so it makes no difference to mid-range if you have the valve or not... right?

cut that sucker out while your at it... build yourself an eliminator and remove the cable and the servo motor itself.

the space saved under the seat makes a great place for the PCV and you will be saving close to 1kg of unnecessary weight.
