Ive got a spot in Med Fast next sunday at Eastern Creek and i want to swap it for a Med Slow.

i was out there saturday and i dont think im quite ready to move up a group yet and would rather not have to ride with that thought in the back of my head all next sunday.

it had been a while since i had been to the track (may) and i was overtaking most people so i thought i was ready to move up.
since then i got a better bike and have put in shit load of k's so thought i was ready for sure
i got an unexpected track day in last weekend and found i was not that fast after all in med slow. my times are really inconsistant.

im just gonna go with the flow. do the first session and just follow someone and try to keep up. if i get swamped i will go and tell em i want to go back down.

You'll be ok, like Mono said there are some really slow riders in that group and if you can hold a decent line you'll be fine.

Yeah mate B1, thats why I decided to head to Wakefield tomorrow.... to have a bit of a shakedown day on my bike :) And try to get used to that race pattern gearbox! Looking forward to it :)

you just worry about where YOUR goin and how YOUR gunna overtake/undercut who ever is infront of you. You'll find someone thats your equal in times. stick with them for a lap of two, then pass em.
your better off (as the boyz said) to be with a group that is more experienced. you'll learn more that way, they go faster because of better lines and bigger balls (I don't have balls :lmao: ).

Rain will make for a slow day i reckon...

tmw i plan on just getting behind someone and follow them round till i get my shit sorted. hopefully after the first session i will be up to the pace.
and if not i can practice being overtaken ;)

i was very far from the fastest though :(

I still reckon im too slow for B1 so next time its back to B2 for me.

some sections i reckon im reasonably fast and then the next bit i will be slow i am just really inconsistant.
i reckon a few more track days an hopefully i can get more consistant.
