We are planing a trackday at the Creek for this date.
RATs will purchase this package prior to the price rise which is 14/01/07

The first 15 riders to pay will get the ride for $150.00
Subsequent riders will be charged at the new rate, due to the price rise from Eastern Creek Ride Days price rise. We envisage that RATs will be charging $160.00 per rider if they are members of RATs. For non members it will be $170.00.

The first 15 have paid. Any further riders interested in this trackday will be up for $160.00, sorry we are just passing on the price rice.

Whats the big problem with us coming to sydney??? I don't and will never call myself a QLD'er (like a few other qld'ers on here) as i was born and bred in sydney and lived most of my life in Port, but yet you keep slagging us off???

I don't have a problem with any of you guys/girls but you seem to have probs with us......for what reason i am guessing has to do with being members of [some other site].

hmmmm, i have a friend who left brissy one day and decided to walk round australia. He made it to sydney (including a stretch from the gold cost to emerald beach - coffs harbour barefoot). I'm not really sure of his mental condition though so i wouldnt recommend it.:headshake:

Yeah the Highway is full of Cameras and patrol cars. The mountain road up to Dorrigo was re-surfaced recently and it is smooth n grippy like a track now!

Yeah, I've tried the Dunlop and Michelin slicks, grip from both was more than I could use, the Dunlops gave me much better tyre life - as long as I warmed them up properly.....

what spec do I ask for and what do they cost? (120 & 180 tyre size)

i have 120/70 on the front and 180/55on the rear. 5.5 inch wode rear wheel. if ya have a 6 inch rear then youll need a 190/55....the dunlops cost me $430 fitted at the creek last track day. they had a special on...
craig white has bridgestones that a few guys have been using and have been happy with....
someone is using pirellis to and was happy with them...in the end they all stik pretty good. i tend to go on price and availability now rather than brand!!

Brand bias aside, I think it shows that Stauffer is head and shoulders above everyone in this Country ATM.
I also think his heir apparent will benefit greatly this year doing a stint it the US but if is successful he will probably pick up a GP ride.

I guess two extra fat tyres and a low centre of gravity helps
It would be interesting to see where the majority of time was made (which split sector) I reckon it would be all the fast turns 1 3 4 5 8 10 11 & 12.
But in saying that, bike/tyre technology and rider fearlessness have come along way, to only be 1 second per turn slower, the pilots of today's refined machines truly have big balls

Well, RATs haven`t ventured into QLD terrority..
Not sure it would do us much good. The main focus of nswrats.com is to focus on local issues here in NSW, namely trying to keep trackday prices at an acceptable level through pooling out resources, arranging the occasional road ride and of course, dribbling shit with mates.
If your looking for a trackday in QLD, try the guys at ozsportsbikes.
The fellas doing regular trackdays up there are pretty genuine, some of them are members here and I`m sure they will point you in the right direction.:ayyy:
