Hi all. Just an update on my recent stolen zx2r.

My mate told me he thought he saw my bike riding through the TOONGABBIE AREA (station road to be exact, but I reckon it could be spotted anywhere in the area even in neighbouring suburbs) at around 2-3pm on a weekday last week. He says he's pretty certain it was mine as it was an A model zx2r (bubble windscreen), sounded exactly like mine (GPZ750 exhaust can) and looked like mine except it had been painted in a matt type of paint (house paint no doubt). Ive done an impression of what it might look like from the details he gave me. Attached below.
My original plate was VAA-13, and he said the plate started with a VA something with a 7 in there. The only other details I got was that it was being ridden by a big guy (not muscular big).

It all sounds about right as its been about a month since it was stolen and considering my mates ZZR was found dumped covered in black matt house paint, id say its the same bunch. Also the decals had been painted over or ripped off so it has no decals at all. Rims have been painted black.

There are some things on it that you can make sure its mine if you get the chance to have a good look at it.

The chain is a gold performance style chain which has slighty thicker link plates. I doubt they would have the knowledge or brain cells to replace a chain.

There is a dent on the tank just behind the fuel cap. Kind of at the top of the tank pad.

The left hand side front indicator was never on properly as it was actually a rear blinker which is a little longer than the right side. Its also held in with a dodgy cardboard and duct tape mount.

Exhaust can is from a GPZ750 and may or may not have a sticker saying "Formula 1" on it. Also it is held onto the mid pipe with canvas and black duct tape to seal it in.

The right hand side highbeam headlight blew a week before it got stolen. When on highbeam the right looks a little dimmer. When on day lights, the right almost looks like its out completely.

Both tyres are were pirelli sport demons. Id say the rear is bald by now due to them doing burnouts like newbies.

If anyone sees it or may have already seen it, please let me know. Either send me a PM, leave a comment in this thread or call me. 0433 040 377. Thats my personal phone number so if anyone whos into prank calls wants to try and annoy me, go for it. Your only wasting your own time and money. But for everyone else, call me any time, day or night. Let me know where and when you saw it last and ill be there in numbers in an instant.

Cheers guys.

Good luck mate.

I honestly cant believe any idiot would ride a stolen bike around, even a thieving scum of the earth would have more brains than that, but, if your mate is certain it is yours, then I guess its not hard to keep a lookout for you :ayyy:.

Looks like i'll be riding through your way more.

Also when you say he is a biggish guy, it could have been that guy we saw come down in the basement one time on the bicycle, He was kinda biggish in a non muscular way.

big doesnt mean anything .. use emotion, turn into a psycho fuckhead & do whatever you can.

The blue would stand out quite a fair bit as well to most bike riders.

Cheers guys. Its great to know there are many more eyes out there.

Gixar: yes they are really that stupid. Last time when 4 bikes were nicked, 2 were chased by the cops and ended up goin to jail and all they had done was painted one in black house paint. The other one hadnt had anything done to it. Another bike, a GS500 is still out there being ridden around, in the exact same condition. Theyre just retarded joy riders. Complete knobs.

Oh and i give full permission for anyone to take them down by any means necessary. Ive moved on from that bike now. Id rather see the thieving scum in a lot of pain than get my bike back in one piece. Its gonna need a ton of work either way if it ever comes back, so a bit more bark off is fine by me. Just let me know where the bike ended up and ill go an pick up the pieces!

cheers guys :ayyy:

What area was it stolen from?

What area was it stolen from?

Toongabbie, although the last set of bikes stolen have been seen around the areas of Laylor Park, Quakers Hill, Castle Hill, Blacktown. Basicly all around Blacktown to Wentworthville. Apparently there have been bike thieving gangs all over the western suburbs. Every area has been hit hard over the last year. Just another reason to KEEP YOUR RIDE LOCKED AND SAFE no matter where you live.

Don't give them too much credit.

My DRZ400 and brother old YZ400f were both stolen one saturday night from Mulgoa.

We know exactly who took them because my brothers friend heard some bikes fanging around near his place (IN ST CLAIR, 20 minutes drive away), up and down the streets and reserves so went outside and recognised our two bikes.

Both straight dirt bikes, no lights or anything obviously.

I wish. By the time the cops got there, they had ditched the bikes who knows where, so the cops 'couldnt do anything'. I would've happily gone myself, but the kids Dad is a 'respected member of the local two-wheeled brigade'.

So to speak.
