they have about 165hp ,stock motor with bolt on bits
try 150 stock....its an 04 rmbr.
With the gear thats in the motor now it could pull 200. Except for the 0.7mm head gasket, I was playing it too safe there.
I was blown away by the sound coming out of the Dyno room. Ive never heard my own bike till now.

funny, looking at my dyno sheet on the 05 I have the same bumps and dips at the same revs in my HP and torque curve as yours! Considering the difference in bolt on bits I'm surprised it's so similar.

road trip to Winton and PI.
Winton was a blast, the darkness spat a chain out onto the track first session, too much grunt for an Ebay chain.

PI was rained out, went home early......need some rain wheels

so whats wrong with 170 hp rip ...i wish mine had that
I've done plenty with a stock motor and good full system and filter that make about 160-165 on my dyno depending on the engine.
Can I ask how the hell a HRC ECU keeps an air fuel ratio spot on given that it could be used on any number of bikes/designs/mods? or is it running a data logging feature of some kind or had a map previously written for it etc?

No logger, its a stock map, (HRC world superbike) they say it doesnt really need fiddling with. Probly helps that theres HRC WRC cams in there as well.
dont forget theres a 0.7mm head gasket in there. If you went to 0.6mm you would get even more power but its got enough as it is cause
you are flat out holding onto it. The 150kg makes it go like its got 200hp.
I can do 4 laps on it and Im exhausted. Funny its not the power that makes you tired, its the brakes. They blow your arms out (triceps).
they are like a brick wall. They are standard 310 diameter but if you went bigger the back would just get squirrelier.
This bike has suspension to match the power. Look at the rubber after a session and its totally smooth, no tears or divots. You wouldnt think there was 170hp going through them. They came off the track at 70 degrees C and it was a shirt off day at Winton.

I can guarantee you that the fueling is not spot on. NO out of the box ecu or chip or anything else for that matter will be right fuel wise. Just doesn't happen. It might feel "ok" and not doing anything wrong, but it could be a lot better.
Ripperton, spend some $$$ and give it over to Birdman and get it sorted

There's nothing wrong with ANY bike, off the shelf, modified or whatever........ doesn't mean it is as good as it could/should be. Doesn't worry me in the slightest, but just saying........... the fueling will be all over the place regardless of what it might feel like, it'll feel much better once the fueling is right.

Trev
Thanks for your help with the 450.
Grant cleaned up at the Creek. Took the overall and went 1.6 seconds under the (unofficial) lap record. Beat Geronomi as well. Even though the little humunculus is 32 kgs lighter.
