the ones im selling dont build rockets either, and are obviously way overpriced compared to the $600 that kanegs charges for the same warmers!!!

I got em off him for $630......

Have to definately disagree here... a very old mate of mine, [Head Sales Rep & 250 proddie racer for Aprillia], is supplied warmers for nix as part of the race team... he's used 4 different types from top end stuff [Dragons] to el cheapos... goes thru 2 sets a year on average. The el cheapos have lasted the longest & he won't use the exxie stuff any more (even though he doen't pay for it!!!)

Bugger that sux.......who wants to swap some DRAGON tyre warmers used 3 times for some really cheap and chatty ones ??? :lmao:

Turtle
28-02-2008, 05:20 PM
Oh & does that fact that you use Dragon Tyre Warmers make you quicker on the track than someone who doesn't...? Didn't think so...!

No of course not........thats a Fact....i bought them cause they were Australian made.........and some RATS told me they were good..........other than that i don't really know SFA about them...

Guys,
I dont normally chime in on these debates as every one has their own opinions of Austalian made v's overseas, cheap v's expensive etc etc. But Dragon Tyre Warmers do not give people/teams tyre warmers for free . We usually help one or two privateers each year because we like to. The warmers are then returned at seasons end. Have a look at our site, last years warmers are for sale.

http://tyrewarmers.com.au/tyrewarmers_wp/Pages/Tyre%20Warmers/Specialoffer.aspx (http://www.tyrewarmers.com.au/tyrewarmers_wp/Pages/Tyre%20Warmers/Specialoffer.aspx)

If our customers 'went' through even one set per year then we would go broke (two year warranty) so this is not correct either. We still recover 5-6 year old Dragon warmers.

Things do go wrong every once in a while but this is pretty rare and any problem get sorted quickly (as possible).

See you at the track

Ive got Dragons and they are a good product......
I bought them when I was working 2 jobs.
If I was in a position now where I had to buy a set I couldn`t afford the Dragons.
If ya want to buy Dragons and ya can afford it I say go for it....Ya won`t go wrong but if ya want a save a buck you will be able to soon.

clarkey

Probably correct there discobob... & to be honest I have NOTHING against your[?] product.. I was mearly quoting a friend in the industry. In fact, he never specified Dragons by name, as a product he used per cei...although he mentioned your product when referring to the topend gear he has used in the past, since the Dragons were the topic of conversation at that time!

As Mick said..if you have the $$$ to lash out on Dragons go for it....we will, however, be supplying warmers for CONSIDERABLY less for those that can't afford dearer stuff!:dancesmiley:
