ok guys....ive just googled it and got a rough idea of price...
they will probably be selling for around the $10 mark...shouldnt be any more, may be a touch less depending on a few things...
so when ya post up interest, keep in mind how much they will be...

Yeah, ill get one for sure. What kinda $$ are we looking at to get our logo printed on it, or should we just get stickers made up and use them? Not sure if they'd work out cheaper or not and the quality would be the best i wouldnt think.

yeh thats them...the black plastic ones that clip around ya number plate...
there are perspex cover type ones that ya can get but anything over ya plate is against the law...and we dont need to give them another reason to pull us over aye!!!

yeh cleverlie....im no good at photoshop but im thinking using parts of this...rats up the top and the website down the bottom with the bikes either side...or vice versa...

I know some people who have been fined for having them clear ones over the number plate.

I couldn't belive it, they were sold at Super Cheap Auto and they put them on there car and get fined....:wtf1:

the RATS bit looks like a wedding invite :p it's a lil hard to read, maybe bolder font, with more use of white, less red? other than that, I'd probably be keen when I get my new bike :) great idea! -J.

i agree that the 'rats' wording does look a little bit like wedding invite font. If i get a bit of time ill try some different font ideas. But i reckon its already looking pretty damn sweet, id get one for sure. Just needs a little fine tuning!

Ok so ive whipped up a few designs just roughly. The last two designs can be made any other colour background to match your bike, i know how picky some of you rats can be! :ayyy:

*edit: Cleverlie has just pointed out that we are www.nswrats.com not www.rats.com as i have designed. These are just concepts anyway so give me a break!

I liked the first one's layout, but the word "RATS" was really hard to read. Maybe if the the letters had more spacing between them it would be better. Each to his own anyway man, if you want 'classy' its your choice. The word classy and my riding style doesnt really go...words like speed, impact, fast, dangerous and psychotic come to mind...

But as Jem said, you can read it stoped at cafe, stoped at lights or keeping speed with the bike im sure, only way your not going to get a good view is if your on the side of the street and we zip past someone who want's to take a closer look....?

Sounds pretty good guys. If anyone likes the last two designs, the ones with the background design, let me know if you want to see different colours. At the moment its just whitish grey and red. Let me know so i can do different colours before they get made up. Id like it to match my bike if it were a different colour, but its not, so i dont, but do you?

Also i was just playing around with that 'classy' style writing and pulled it all apart and gave it space. Then i just got carried away and came up with this. Kinda could be used as like a banner or as a new logo or something??
