Not sure if this will help anyone but...

I wanted a key to open my tank on my 2006 CBR600RR track bike, so I could attach the ignition key to the top clamp. Without buying a Genuine Honda key for 40-50 bucks plus cutting.

Well I found that a Vectra key had the same slots and it cost a total of 10 dollars cut.

If you own a Suzuki (post 98) then most use keys from the Nissan range, Suzuki and Nissan use the same lock supplier.

Any good lock smith can make a "lock out" key from a basic blank for under $10. Unfortunately simply being a lock smith dosent make them a good one when it comes to automotive keys. (I used to work for Mr Minit)

Hey Seals, was it a Vectra key like this, or would it need to be an older version??

would have to be older. there was no transponder type to it. I'll grab the key number later and post it up.
