SKY Italia (the italianFoxtel) has shown a great interview with Valentino, and he answers openly to a lot of interesting questions.
At a certain point he gets asked:
"What happened between you and Alonso?"
"Well, when I tried the Ferrari Formula 1, I came 8 tenths slower than him on the same day, we met somewhere in the pits, and he says to me "you see, you're too slow for the 4 wheels, better go back to your world"...
and I replied
"Let's see if you're 8 tenths slower than me on a motorcycle and then you can say that....."
Few months later both me and Alonso were in Barcelona, so I challenged him to do this cross sports competition, and he didn't even reply, then I proposed ok lets do racing on Formula 1, then motorcycle, then rally car if you think it's more fair....
Alonso said no way! Why? He knew he would have lost on the rally car!!!!!! ""
Now, I was smiling in reading this, because these guys are HUMANS, almost kids I'd say, with the same silly logics we used to have or use to have..... that's great!
On a side note I was thinking that there might be a reason why Schumacher is practicing motorcycles :ayyy:
