There's a guy in the US who can fit LED's to just about anything; many riders use him for the turn signals - here's a pic of the rear of a bike similar to mine:

No rear fender, nice and tidy isn't it? BUT ... no rear turn signals either. This is where he's fitted them.

Do you reckon it's legal? By all accounts they're as bright as, so I'm not worried about the safety issue .... I just don't want to get booked for it.

I also have the integrated lite on my blade, never had a hassle from the law.....so i think they'd be okay..

They are illegal in most places, except for Texas.

Captain :confused1: your 600 is going to be the track day bike so your going to start going faster because thats why you bought it so the likelihood of a mishap will increase. Do you really want to start spending money on cosmetic upgrades, I think your money would be better spent on suspension tweaking but thats just my opinion.

A very valid point zRoYz. :confused1:

Its not going to be a dedicated trakkie though ? So i say Bling away !!! Go the full integrated like mine ...that way there's no bits hanging off......:ayyy:

True but he also has the Bird so unless it goes the 600 will be used me thinks on road until the novelty value wears off.

Again if something does happen on track to 600 then upgrade to integrated because nobody wants to buy the standard stuff so might as well use the parts.

All bets are off if the Bird goes then I say bing away.

Oh yea, thanks guys - I have seen them. BUT if yours is a dedicated track bike ... why have blinkers or stop lights to begin with? The point being IF you're gonna ride it on the road then you MIGHT consider legality and visibility ... and this 'integrated' solution fails on both counts.
Am I wrong?

It was the first thing I intended doing too Turtle, the back of the bike looks much cleaner without it. Then I found these LED's for the rear pegs, and got thinking.

Then, quite a few riders in the US claimed that these pegs have saved the back of the bike in an off ... a pseudo oggy knob if you catch my meaning. A few riders even leave theem 'open' for that very reason - although you'd think they would simply fold back in a slide.

So now I'm as confused as always ..... :confused1:

I have a customer with LED's in the pegs.

He did it himself in about half hour and $5-10 woth of bits from Jay car. They sell the LED's for about 25c each.

Just drilled the holes and used silicon to hold the lights in place. Not the neatest job but still looked ok.
