This BS ! has to stop.

James is trying to get people racing, and all people do is shoot him down....

Just let the guy organise his race meets for fffff's sake, the riders will race where they want to race, not where they are told ! to race

Stu, fill in the blanks?? I gather from what you're saying the release from Lyndel doesn't tell the full story? Lyndel is implying that not enough riders entered, so what is it you're saying?

From what I have read, this series from James was going to mean less riders entering another race series, one meeting a week before another, having the green light, then having it taken away, if this happens then then you are left with basically 1 race meeting series, is difficult to continue huh Just seems the powers that be have there heads where they shouldnt.....vent vent...

Sounds like it's going from bad to worse; just received this email:

ORAN PARK RACE MEET CANCELLED.
Due to the infighting and confusion in road racing in NSW at the moment and with the refusal of MNSW to permit our Wakefield park event
we have decided to withdraw all our Race events in NSW until further notice.
Any and all enquires please contact Lyndel Butler.
On behalf of us all here at ECRRS and Circuit Breakers we apologize to all the Riders ,Sponsors and supporters of our Race events.

Hi Paul

No I couldnt enter as i had already booked a short holiday for the family up at Port Stevens , would have loved to race at Oran though and at Wakefield too, have to admit that Phillip Island is a bit too much for me at the moment though ( although what a place to race....been dreaming of that for ages whilst living in the UK ) still you never know :) Is the PI meeting still on ??

Basically a couple of bully's using there infleunce is why the majority of the East Coast Road Race "Series" Has not been run this season..

I cant say its the case for each individual round but on the whole when you keep getting the rug pulled out from underneath your and dates cancelled after they have been booked. (Im not specifying whether its the track managers or governing body or combination of both) has made it very hard to promote the little you have left with any confidence for fear of the same happening again...

We all saw what a great success the ECRRS was last year without any outside interferance (just ask any competitor) :ayyy:

Yet the series which you could say has taken its place this year, had half the entries for the first round and had to cancell the 2nd round due to lack of riders (supporters...)

Sometimes in bussiness the most successfull entity will suvive and the weaker ones will perish left to their own devices...

Other times forces behind the scences give the opposite result
(Any one been following the presidential "elections" in the "democratic" state of Zimbabwe??)

This is more like that situation, where something not for the good of the sport but more for the benifit of a few devious individuals is causing a great deal of damage to the sport as a whole.

The sad things is some of these people are the very people who are supposed to have our intrests at heart.

If only I could say more....

*Disclaimer these are my opinions and my opinions soley and are in no way a representation of any of the parties involved.

You know.........when I was in the UK, I was looking at the race scene over here and thought to myself, the ECRRS looks a good setup, cant wait to get there and have a go.......arrived , got my bike, then it all fell apart.....luckily the St George club also run a good club and I can have some fun there too.........and thats the KEY.....having fun....its why we do it...im too fat and slow to be doing it for anything other reason I LOVE IT just dont need it ruining by this current climate. We cant all be racing pro and semi pro there has to be a vibrant club scene for the younger guys to come through..
