Circuit Breaker's Race School

Posted this "Feeler" up on the illawarra site tonight to gauge interest

Since we have a few rider's participating regularly in track days on this forum, I was thinking who would be keen in learning some race craft.
Circuit Breaker's has proven and leading motorcycle riders offering tuition. Names like Kevin Magee, Shawn Giles, Josh Brookes, Damian Cudlin, Daniel Stauffer, Mark Atchinson Russell Holland and Glenn Allerton.
The dates that I propose are: April Tuesday 10th and May Thursday 10th. I Choose these dates because the climate is more comfortable in leathers.
Price: Normally $295.00 + Transponder Lap timing, Including One on One instruction, Class room theory, On track displays, 6 X 25 minute track sessions, Lunch, water and refreshments all day. Now reduced to Rats Discount: 5+ Riders : $265 per rider + FREE Lap Timer hire.
At the moment I won't be doing anything. Just putting this out as a "feeler".

we do have a bit of a discount goin with circuit breakers race school at the moment. but we need a group of 5 or more. cant remember the exact costs and savings, but leave it with me and ill look into it tomorrow...
and depending on dates, i may be keen to do it again. i need all the helpi can get:D

me and james started talking about race school on sunday at oran park and he mumbled sumthin about a group of 30 and a good price. Then he got distracted by the pit girls and we didnt finish the convo!! now i dunno if we could get that many together for a race school, and im not sure what sort of good price we could get, but its already pretty damn cheap with 5!!!

I have already attended 2 CB race schools & was worth every cent (I mainly like the low numbers & extra track time).

I maybe up for this but would like to do 1 on a sports bike which could happen soonish if things go to plan :-)

Yeah not many track day enthusiasts on the Illawarra site :( And some of the guys that I know would be in, are currently searching or building track bikes. So they're obviously out. There is Dallas though and has yet to comment.

Which month we gonna pick?? Probably have to setup a Poll. I'm easy either way but make sense to do it in a less financially draining month. The misses is getting a little pisst at me, Trackday, Tyre warmers, Race school, Trackday. I certainly owe her big time this Valentine's Day. :n:

I just did the race school at EC today. It was great fun and alot to learn. I basically had to relearn to ride again - I've picked up alot of random habits, so spent the majority of the time focus on the body positions. I was 3 seconds slower at the end of the day compared to the start, but I had much more fun learning new things and attempting to apply some lol. The race starts with the umbrella girls was good fun :)

Yeah, I was 2:02 at the start of the day and the aim was to get it under 2, but that never happened. I just focused on trying to get the bad habits out of my system first. I'm happy with going a bit slower in order to do the right things to go faster... if that makes sense...

circuit breakers only do race school at eastern creek. im not sure why they cant do ride days there as well, but they are limitedto racre school...
but its always at e.c. mate...

UPDATE

All votes are in and May 10th is the preferred date. Of course I understand individual circumstances may change for this is some months away.

The rule for the discount still applies:
4 participants or less = $295 + lap timer (Which is $15)
+5 - 9 participants = $265 + free lap timing
+10 participants = $250 + free lap timing

We hope to have your support closer to the said date. I'd say that bookings would take place 4 weeks prior to the scheduled event to ensure our position as a group booking.
I'll keep you all updated and remind you of when bookings will take place. Of course for all who are undecided, you have plenty of time to get in on it.

Al I've heard from many riders that circuit breakers is better than super bike school. Please add me as a definate inner :)
