Pretty good Comprehensive deal

Time has come for insurance renewal and was conveniently reminder by e-bike insurance co. with whom I only did an online quote 12 months prior, so it looks like they've recorded my details onto their database and emailed me to have another try at their product......so I did.

Turns out they almost halved their original quote from last year and smashed my current insurers price and product. :mod_smilie_rockwoot

My annual payment will be $600 with $4500 worth of rider's gear cover, 24/7 road side assistance and all my non-standard accessories listed and itemised to a complete value of 16 grand (including bike) with only the minimum $450 excess on claims.

I thought that was a pretty good deal, considering what I've been paying and getting in return....thought I'd share if anyone's hunting.

so, 30+, full license for 5+ years.............

Yeap 5 years NCB. + 30 but it's not asked that way....they ask for years licenced and riding experience. Also rider training (with whom they approve of) but that wasn't a factor for me. Uhmm what else??? Here try 'em http://www.ebikeinsurance.com.au/

I've heard of people getting QBE to match quotes from eBike as well, if that helps...

I'm about to be a learner with ZERO experience, I was quoted $400 p.a. for comprehensive cover on a VTR250 with minimum excess, $1500 gear cover etc, compared to ~$1500 p.a. with others *cough* insuremyride.com *cough* and 20 minutes after getting the quote, they called me to see if I had any questions about the policy.

i with ebikes too. Very good deal, premium costs 800plus dollars thats less than half of what i paid wth another insurer the previous year.

Do it , :ayyy: i'm with qbe and just did the online quote for e bike and it's nearly $200 cheaper for me with e bike.

QBE quoted me $1200+20% for pay by the month but then reduced it to $800 total and increased the annual mileage to 'unlimited' when I came back with a quote from elsewhere. No problems and seemed happy to do it.

I ride 07 R1 in shit area +10yr exp etc.

Moral of the story, shop around!!

Yep were with e-bike for both bikes, cheapest by heaps.

I'm also insured with EBike. $800 bux for my K6 GSXR1000 in the West of Sydney is pretty good.
The free road service, $4000 odd riding gear cover and a good premium swayed me. They were a few hundred dollars cheaper than the rest.

I just re-insured myself as well and went with QBE.......they guarrentee to beat any other quote, i was with ARISTA (mybike insurance) the quote from QBE was 240 buck more expensive then my renewal from "mybike" so QBE dropped their price to 5 bucks less then "mybike" insurance....

Has Anyone here ever heard of trumphy insurance? Som guyson the go slow run we ran into were telling me that Triumph have there own insurance and only cover triumphs? Ive never heard of it?
