Dave,

I had a similar experience with QBE. I received a renewal greenslip from them on the Z1000 for a value of $480. One of the guys on the forum suggested this website.

http://www.greenslips.com.au/green-slip-comparison.asp

I received a quote of $368.97 from GIO. They were the cheapest.

Cheers

If you don't have comprehensive bike insurance they hit you with a big premium for CTP insurance. Show them evidence of comprehensive insurance and the price usually goes down.

NRMA had my renewel at $489, after calling them they got it down to $397

Called QBE $287

will still get a couple more quotes, but looks like QBE wins this year.

I'm over 30 live in country area and have the bike fully insured for more than 2 years.

You would think staying loyal to one insurance company would be good thing, obviously not. Pays to shop around every bloody year.

yeah, that's it shane, the way i see it, the money you would save if you didnt have insurance would cover more then enough to repair:lmao:

yeah CTP for me is 400 (ball park , definatly more) and i wouldn't even consider for one second at my age getting fully comprehensive.... plus excess... it's insane!!!

I'll insure your bike for you mate, so long as i get her for 12 months! ;)

got mine for the Honda the other week QBE $480.
just used Barts link with my acco's n fines. QBE still came in the same, then changed it to no acco's and :wtf1: they all came in at the same price. so if speeding fines n acco's don't make any difference, so why do they ask
