Well the zxr250 lives. Fitted the correct rotors and the rest of the bits I have picked up repaired some of the the handy work of previous owners and it starts. There still maybe a need for some fine tuning but I wont know till I get it out for a run around the block a couple of times but all signs are good fired it up just now still with he funnel cable tied to the roof for the fuel grab the front droppwed it into gear and it spun up ther rear tyre enough that I am up hear waiting for the smoke to clear :mod_smilie_rockwoot :thumbsup: :cool: :D now time to go down and fit the tank and seats and off around the block I go :zx_smilie_grn_new: :helmet:

Anyone know a place that rechromes and rebushes fork legs noticed one has some funny marks on it :headshake: owell something else for me to have a play with:ayyy:

ian, what kind of paint did you use?, cause i found that if you try to spray 2pac over acrilyc it will cause a majour reaction and make it look like you've hit it with an oxy torche..lol

rubbed it back put a 2pac high fill under coat and 2pac yellow it fried cause it wasn't the cleanest, need to get a good wax and grease remover for the next next coat

I hope you're using the correct breathing equipment when spraying isocyanate based products.......no smell or taste, but as deadly as asbestos. Read the MSDS label.

i had a peice off my 520 on the tiller, but chucked it...looked at it, thought about it, and couldnt even think of a time when i might need it, so it went in the bin!!!
