Some outfit called Big Dog Motorcycles (http://www.bdm.com/models/single.php?model=wolf). I'd never heard of them.

What do you think - worthy of the prize? Would you buy one?

(I think the judging criteria would be worth reading...:confused1:)

An American awards thing no doubt , i don't mind the look of some of the choppers but would love to see someone transplant a ducati twin or the v max into one of these choppers, some real power and technology.

Discoverys Biker Build Off shows & the like have forced many contraptions such as this out of the woodwork.

I don't get the whole American motorbike thing. HD are renown for providing yesterdays technology at tomorrows prices (I think I read that on a motivational poster somewhere - I like it) and that's how it's going to be. But what disappoints me is Buell. I had read of some of their material and from the outset it looks like real innovation - fuel in the frame, oil in the swingarm, those perimeter disc brakes and so on. All about mass centralisation and reducing unsprung rate.. real sportsbike stuff - and they do all that, and then go and stick a HD engine it it??

Oh and I don't like the bike, it looks ridiculous..
