I am looking for a few marshal's for this weekends MRRDA junior road racing series at Oran Park. You can do ether Saturday( 21st ) or Sunday ( 22nd ) or both days which ever suits you best.Training, lunch and refreshments will be provided for the volunteers and you get the best seat in the house. You will be required to be at the track by 7:30am and finish around 4:30pm.
This is a great way to get started in marshaling and can lead to you marshaling in the GP's or world SBK's as it did for me
If you are keen please PM me and i will give you all the details you need :ayyy:

Spent the day out at OP today doing recovery for the MRRDA junior road racing series.I felt like i was in the 6th grade at the briefing and some of the kids there were barely old enough to have pimples or even licenses to ride on the road, but gez they can ride a bike.Watching these kids on their 125's,250's,400's and 600's made for a very entertaining day. There are a few names there that may very well be as common as Stoner, Corser and who knows maybe evan a Doohan.
Motorcycling Australia has asked me to thank a few of our members for spending their weekend volunteering as marshal's.These guys gave up their time so these kids could go racing today and without you guys doing that there is no way these types of events could go ahead.
Out Of Control, Russell and Ms Russell...take a bow guys, you did RATs proud today :clap::clap:

I'm glad I took up the offer, didnt really expect myself doing something like that but then i thought about it and decided to give one day a go, enjoyed it so much I came back to marshal again today and in the end I had two awesome days of watching these future stars racing and like VINNIE said....they sure can ride.

As a competitor at this weekends MRRDA meeting, a big thankyou to all the RATS guys who helped out as officials. These race meetings couldn't be run without the support of the volunteer officials. Greatly appreciated!:ayyy:
Unfortunately I meet Vinnie when he did a recovery on my bike after the last 400 race. Put it down in turn 3. Bike is ok though.
