    Top Fuel Rod and Piston

Heres a complete rod pin ring and piston set from Terry Sainty's Top Fuel Dragster that I scored today on the way to Eastern Creek Wreckers.
Amazing piece of gear. The rod looks disproportionately big to the piston. The rod is alloy of some grade but the pin is steel. The alloy looking things in the end of the pin bore are just locating plugs that sit under the oil control ring that they use instead circlips. The piston in increadibly heavy. I have another 3 pistons in various stages of siezed and 2 other rods without caps. This one piston puts out 1000hp
